Owls Add 19 on Signing Day

Everything remained pretty much status quo for the Owls on Signing Day as head coach David Bailiff and his staff wrapped up another busy 12 month recruiting cycle with the Owls signing all 19 of their commits heading into National Signing Day.

It was a day that went as expected for the Owls, no surprises, no late additions and more importantly no flips to other schools.

“This is always an exciting day because it’s the payoff for a great deal of work,” Bailiff said. “Signing Day is the focus of all the attention, but the results today are the result of a year’s worth of hard work by our staff. As in years past, we identified a talented group of players who continued to improve during their senior years, but held firm on their commitment to become Owls despite offers from a number of schools as this process wound down.”

With 2016 now wrapped up, the Owls coaching staff can now turn their attentions to 2017.
